Kanye West performed new music for his Facebook fans at Facebook HQ and for his Twitter followers at Twitter HQ in two days. Kanye won't allow anything but pictures of the video to be leaked and the world is anticipating the debut of "Power". Kanye is seen, in one continuous shot, surrounded by nude and partially nude female attendants, yet he doesn't see the executioner standing behind him ready to strike. “It had this very dark, personal conflict within it,” artist and director Marco Brambilla told the New York Times. “Because of his own concept of celebrity and his own notoriety, he’s keenly self-aware of all these things. And it all came out in the music.”

Come on Micheal Vick? Can this dude stay out of trouble? - July 9, 2010
Michael Vick Denies Shooting Man Following Birthday Bash
Micheal Vick may be in trouble once again. There was a shooting outside of a Virginia Beach restuarant club at Micheal Vick's 30th birthday bash.
"I want to assure everyone that I had nothing to do with that incident," Vick said in a statement released to the press Thursday night, almost a week after the June 25 shooting. "I left the restaurant prior to it occurring and did not witness what happened."
Police thus far have refused to rule out anyone present at the party last Friday and have not identified the shooting victim, a man who sustained "non-life threatening injuries" early that morning outside Guadalajara's restaurant, a nightclub in Virginia Beach.
Virginia Beach Police have not named or ruled out any suspects, according to spokeswoman Margie Hobbs.
"We're still trying to talk to all the witnesses involved. If and when a warrant is obtained, then we will name a suspect," Hobbs said. "The investigation is still continuing."
Vick said he informed the NFL following the incident and had been honest when questioned by police and the league.
"I have been completely truthful and fully cooperative from the very beginning," Vicks said, "and will continue to cooperate with law enforcement and the NFL as this investigation continues."
Alan Fabijan, spokesman for Guadalajara Mexican restaurant and nightclub, said time-stamped footage from a surveillance camera outside the entrance of the club shows a car with a man Fabijan says is Vick inside driving away at 2:07 a.m. about 4 minutes before the shooting a block away, according to the AP.
The waiting car with the man identified as Vick inside pulled away at about 2:07 a.m., heading in the direction of the eventual shooting. Numerous people were visible lingering in front of the club for several minutes until, at 2:10:55, they appear to be startled, with some ducking for cover, the AP reported.
I hope Vick is telling the truth because if not, this could be the end of his career. It's making it harder and harder for black quarterbacks in general, especially with JaMarcus Russell getting arrested recently in Alabama drinking on some sisurp!

Prince Says that the internet is over, it's not "hip" Anymore? What chu talking bout Prince??? - July 6, 2010

Music superstar Prince is adamant he will never sell his songs on the Internet, insisting Web-based outlets will soon disappear because they are no longer "hip."
The "Purple Rain" hitmaker has long battled to keep his music offline -- in 2007 he sued YouTube.com and eBay.com claiming they "are clearly able (to) filter porn and pedophile material but appear to choose not to filter out the unauthorized music and film content, which is core to their business success."
Prince has also moved to ban fansites using images and anything linked to his likeness, while a home video of a child dancing to one of his songs on YouTube was pulled down in 2007 after the star's Universal Music Publishing claimed the recording infringed copyright.
The artist is still refusing to allow Web sites to sell his music and he's adamant fans will soon move on from the Internet.
He says, "The Internet's completely over. I don't see why I should give my new music to iTunes or anyone else. They won't pay me an advance for it and then they get angry when they can't get it.
"The Internet's like MTV. At one time MTV was hip and suddenly it became outdated. Anyway, all these computers and digital gadgets are no good. They just fill your head with numbers and that can't be good for you.
Firing Squad executes man on death row in Utah! - June 19, 2010
Ronnie Lee Gardner (Mug Shot)
via:cbsnews.com
DRAPER, Utah (CBS/AP/KUTV) At 12:17 a.m. Friday, convicted killer Ronnie Lee Gardner was pronounced dead after a Utah firing squad fired a volley of bullets into the murderer's chest, where a target was pinned over his heart. It was the first execution by firing squad in the United States in 14 years.
At a press conference held about an hour after the execution, witnesses from various press agencies described in detail what they saw. Fields Moseley, a reporter for CBS affiliate KUTV, was a witness to the execution, and at the press conference he stated that he felt the shooting death was very violent and not at all clinical. Other reporters, however, felt differently and described the scene as almost sanitary.
All press witnesses made reference to Gardner clenching his hand from the moments right before the shooting and until the curtain was drawn on the witness viewing rooms. At one point after the shooting Gardner's hand relaxed and then tensed up again according to witnesses.
In an eyewitness account, Associated Press reporter Jennifer Dobner wrote, "There was no blood splattered across the white cinderblock wall at the Utah State Prison. No audible sounds from the condemned. I couldn't see his eyes. I never saw the guns and didn't hear the countdown to the trigger-pull."
Gardner, when given the opportunity to say any last words, replied "I do not, no." A black hood was then fastened over his head, and shortly thereafter the executioners followed a count down from five to two and then fired the shots that ended Gardner's life.
Gardner was allowed to choose between the firing squad and lethal injection because he was sentenced to death before Utah eliminated the firing squad as an option in 2004. He told his lawyer he did it because he preferred it - not because he wanted the controversy surrounding the execution to draw attention to his case or embarrass the state.
As Gardner was shot, about two dozen members of Gardner's family held a vigil outside of the Utah State Prison in Draper, south of Salt Lake City. "He didn't want nobody to see him get shot," said Gardner's brother, Randy Gardner. "I would have liked to be there for him. I love him to death. He's my little brother."
The executioners were all police officers who volunteered for the task and remain anonymous. They stood about 25 feet from Gardner, behind a wall cut with a gunport, and were armed with a matching set of .30-caliber Winchester rifles. One was loaded with a blank so no one knows who fired the fatal shot. Sandbags stacked behind Gardner's chair kept the bullets from ricocheting around the cinderblock room.
Gardner was sentenced to death for the fatal shooting death of Utah attorney Michael J. Burdell during an escape attempt and shootout at the old Metropolitan Hall of Justice in downtown Salt Lake City on April 2, 1985.
Although he was handcuffed and surrounded by prison guards, a female acquaintance slipped Gardner a loaded, long-barreled .22-caliber handgun in the basement of the building just before the shooting. He shot Burdell in the head, wounded a court bailiff and was himself shot in the right shoulder before being captured on the courthouse lawn as he tried to flee.
Gardner and his defense attorneys fought to stop the execution to the end. They filed petitions with state and federal courts, asked a Utah parole board to commute his sentence to life in prison without parole, and finally appealed to Utah Gov. Gary Herbert and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Gardner spent his last day sleeping, reading the novel "Divine Justice," watching the "Lord of the Rings" film trilogy and meeting with his attorneys and a bishop with the Mormon church. A prison spokesman said officers described his mood as relaxed. He had eaten his last requested meal - steak, lobster tail, apple pie, vanilla ice cream and 7UP - two days earlier.
Gardner walked willingly to his execution.
Dr. Dre-"Under Pressure" Leak! - June 17, 2010

I knew it was going to get leaked somehow and now here it is. As always it is an unfinished track, I hear where it was going and I like it but, now that it has been leaked, I suspect it will get changed. Being the perfectionist, that is Dr. Dre it will probably also get pushed back even further that before. Here is a statement released by Dr. Dre concerning the leak.
“I want to set the record straight for everybody who’s been waiting to hear my music,” he wrote on June 17 at aftermath.com. “The song that’s on the Internet is an incomplete song that I’m still working on. When it’s ready, you’ll be hearing it from me.”
Only Time will tell, What do you think about the song. Leave comments on the blog page! Also click on the music tab as I have a very interesting interview that was done by Scarface concering the recent VH1 Hip Hop Honors of the south.
